It Takes a Village is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide a dynamic, inclusive platform for intellectual, cultural, personal growth and community development for young African and African diasporan minds, including but not limited to African-Americans, Afro-Latinos, & Afro-Caribbeans. The platform serves as a space for young Africans and African Diasporans to access resources, engage in educational programs, as well as participate in cultural and leadership development activities.
From humble beginnings, we have grown into a thriving community of like-minded individuals driven by a common purpose: to unlock the potential within African youth and amplify their voices on the global stage. What started as a grassroot initiative has evolved into a platform where dreams are realized, ideas are nurtured, and lives are transformed.
